Growing up in the rolling farmland of Wisconsin, Mary Heagle spent much of her youth appreciating the beauty of nature while exploring creative pursuits including drawing, painting, sculpture and writing.

After receiving her BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she moved to the west coast, where she became one of the founding artists of the SOIL artists cooperative in Seattle, Washington.

Time spent in the mountains, oceans and ancient groves of the coastal lands rekindled her profound connection to the Divine in nature. Mary frequently sat in the woods to paint or draw, capturing glimpses of the visions and impressions that the Spirits of Nature and the Divine Feminine revealed to her.

Mary draws on her spiritual practice and connection to nature to nourish her creativity. Her work explores the Spirits of Nature, Guardians, and the triple aspects of the Divine Feminine.

Mary's work is currently on display at Life Force Arts Center in Chicago, Illinois, as part of the juried exhibit “Spirit of the Wood.” Mary is also one of the artists featured in the promotional video “Emergence of the Divine Feminine Arts Show.
